Terms and Conditions
1. Purpose
These Terms and Conditions govern the sale of tickets and services offered by Barryland and the Fondation Barry, including admission to Barryland, activities, hikes, events and gift vouchers.
2. Types of Tickets and services
The services offered include in particular:
- Barryland admission tickets
- Activities and events (workshops, guided tours, etc.)
- Hikes with the Saint Bernards
- Group bookings
- Gift vouchers
Conditions may vary depending on the type of service booked.
3. Orders and ticketing
Tickets are available for purchase via the online ticketing platform accessible through the official websites:
Once the order has been confirmed and payment completed, the customer receives their tickets electronically (QR code). Tickets may be presented either digitally or in printed form.
4. Prices and payment
Each All prices are indicated in Swiss francs (CHF), VAT included. Accepted payment methods are those available on the booking platform (credit cards, TWINT, etc.). Payments are processed securely in accordance with current standards.
5. Cancellation and modification conditions
Cancellation and modification conditions vary depending on the type of service booked.
No refunds are issued for purchased tickets, regardless of the type of service, including in the event of loss, theft or non-use.
Depending on the type of service and under certain conditions, a date change may be offered. Any modification remains subject to availability and cannot be guaranteed.

5.1 Barryland tickets (standard admission)
A date change is possible only if the request is made at least 72 hours (date and time being binding) before the scheduled start time of the visit. After this deadline, no modification can be granted.
5.2 Group bookings at Barryland (10 persons or more)
Group bookings (schools, social institutions, companies, tour operators, guided tours, etc.) must be made in advance and are subject to confirmation.
Cancellation conditions:
- Free cancellation up to 72 hours before the service
- After this deadline, the full amount remains due
Pricing is based on the number of participants confirmed 72 hours before the service, with a tolerance margin of 10%.
5.3 Activities and events at Barryland
A date change is possible only if the request is made at least 7 days before the activity date and remains subject to availability. After this deadline, no modification can be granted.
5.4 Hikes with the Saint Bernards
A date change is possible only if the request is made at least 30 days before the activity date and remains subject to availability. Due to high demand and the limited number of places available, short-notice modifications cannot be guaranteed. For requests made within this deadline, a gift voucher valid for 12 months may exceptionally be offered without guarantee. After this deadline, no modification or compensation can be granted.
5.5 Late arrival and no-show
In the event of a delay of more than 30 minutes or failure to attend, the service cannot be guaranteed and no refund will be issued.
5.6 Cancellation by the organiser
In the event that a service is cancelled by Barryland or Fondation Barry (weather conditions, safety reasons, force majeure, etc.), an appropriate solution, such as rescheduling or a refund, may be offered.
6. Validity and use of tickets
- Each ticket is valid only for the date and service indicated.
- Tickets are personal and valid only for the booked activity.
- Tickets must be presented with a valid QR code.
- Reduced-price or free tickets require valid supporting documentation.
- Resale of tickets is prohibited.
7. Specific conditions relating to services
- Participants authorise Barryland and Fondation Barry to use photographs and videos in which they may appear for communication purposes.
- During activities involving the dogs, the instructions of the supervising staff and animal handlers must be followed at all times.
- If the welfare of the dogs, safety, or the proper conduct of the activity are compromised, Barryland and Fondation Barry reserve the right to interrupt or stop the activity, or to exclude participants at any time without refund.
- Participation in hikes with the Saint Bernards requires good physical condition and appropriate equipment. If a participant is unable to complete the hike under appropriate safety conditions, Barryland and Fondation Barry reserve the right to exclude the participant from the activity without refund.
8. Gift Vouchers
Gift vouchers are valid for 12 months from the date of issue. They may be used for all services offered (ticketing, activities, shop), with the exception of the Restaurant Café de Barry.
Gift vouchers are non-refundable, non-exchangeable and may not be resold.
9. Insurance and inability to attend
Customers are responsible for ensuring that they have adequate insurance coverage (accident, illness, cancellation, etc.).
In the event of inability to attend, particularly for medical reasons, no refund will be issued. Customers are encouraged to contact their personal insurance provider to verify whether cancellation costs may be covered.
10. Customer responsibilities
Customers are responsible for the accuracy of the information provided when placing an order.
Barryland and Fondation Barry cannot be held liable for non-receipt of tickets due to incorrect information provided by the customer.
11. Complaints
Any complaint must be sent by e-mail to tickets@fondation-barry.ch or by post to: Barryland, Rue du Levant 34, 1920 Martigny, Switzerland
12. Applicable Law
These conditions are governed by Swiss law. In the event of a dispute, the place of jurisdiction is Martigny.
13. Acceptance of the conditions
By confirming their order, customers acknowledge that they have read and accepted these Terms and Conditions without reservation.
